A leading automotive organisation is seeking a dynamic and analytical After Sales Product & Pricing Analyst to support the development, implementation and maintenance of after-sales products, pricing models and strategies.
The role will focus on strengthening competitive positioning, supporting after-sales turnover and market share, and contributing to dealer profitability through effective pricing, market analysis and product strategies.
Conduct competitor and independent aftermarket research to assess product, pricing and market positioning.
Develop and analyse pricing models and recommend price positioning and price adjustments.
Determine appropriate discounts and commercial conditions to support dealer network loyalty and competitiveness.
Identify opportunities to improve after-sales turnover and dealer profitability through pricing and margin strategies.
Facilitate dealer working groups to review pricing, market positioning and competitor activity.
Monitor market trends, competitor offerings and industry developments to identify opportunities and potential threats.
Support the development of marketing briefs and initiatives relating to pricing and product repositioning.
Represent the brand in relevant group parts pricing activities.
Consolidate and analyse data to support target-setting and negotiations with international stakeholders.
Benchmark products against competitors and provide recommendations for appropriate action.
Qualifications
Recognised 3-year National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Procurement, Marketing, Business Management or a related field.
Experience & Knowledge
Minimum 3 years' automotive industry experience.
Good understanding of the automotive market and competitive environment.
Knowledge of automotive parts, accessories and collection business.
Understanding of automotive product and pricing systems and strategies.
Knowledge of dealer after-sales operating procedures.
Previous experience in a marketing environment will be advantageous, particularly after-sales marketing.
Experience with SAP, ET 2000 and Business Warehouse will be advantageous.
Advanced MS Office proficiency, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Strong numerical and analytical ability with confidence working with figures and data.
Understanding of pricing principles and commercial considerations.
Strong report preparation and presentation skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Structured and methodical approach to problem-solving.
Ability to analyse market information and translate findings into practical recommendations.
