Interdot Solutions in Germiston, South Africa, seeks a Regional Portfolio Manager to own portfolio strategy, pricing and performance. You will work with regional sales and OE PMs as AM product owner, guiding growth plans, market positioning and profitability.
Responsibilities include aligning regional portfolio to global strategy, translating market needs into opportunities, and supporting service readiness when applicable.
Key Purpose
Focus on regional or sub-regional portfolio management, portfolio development and interface with regional sales team & regional OE PM as AM product owner. Own pricing strategy for respective portfolio.
Responsible for respective portfolio performance/strategy (sales, margin, volume, mix, BO, bleeders, G2M, price positioning).
Integrate cross-divisional & external supplier competitiveness support (COGS productivity)
Define and Pursue growth targets & battle plans for key customers together with sales leaders.
Voice of the (sub-) regional market to define the product specifications, to position product in the right customer segment for financial success respecting global guidelines and brand strategy.
Ensure customer proximity by transforming market & customer requirements into profitable portfolio opportunities with supporting business cases. Responsible for portfolio range extension (Pipeline: REMAN, 2nd line, Premium and rep. kit).
Align, define and execute regional portfolio strategy, as part of regional category book in line with global strategy. Act as (sub-)regional AM gate keeper to support (sub-)regional front-line sales team, align with regional OE Project Manager to ensure AM requirements are fulfilled in RFQ, CQ & GDEP meetings. If Global Service readiness exists in the category, and it is a new development for a lead customer then GDEP is covered by service readiness team. If application project, then regional or local service team shall lead Service readiness execution locally.
Required skills and experience / main competencies
Education: Bachelor of science degree in business, engineering or related
Experience: 3-7 years in product management
IT tools: MS Office, Excel advanced; Cognos, SAP, Sales Force
Languages: English, business fluent
