Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dynamic After School Care Facilitator to manage its program in Nelspruit. The role involves supervising school-aged children in a safe, engaging environment after school hours, organizing activities, assisting with homework, and ensuring their well-being until pickup.

This is a part-time opportunity with a flexible schedule during school terms, offering chances for professional development and to make a positive impact on children's lives outside the traditional school

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with school-aged children in a group setting.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to plan and facilitate a range of activities suitable for different age groups.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children aged 6-12 in a safe and structured after-school environment.
• Plan and lead a variety of engaging recreational and educational activities.
• Assist children with homework completion and provide academic support.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's day and progress.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming space for the children.
