Job summary

Placements24 in Vereeniging is seeking an Aftercare Facilitator to supervise children aged 6 to 13 after school, ensuring a safe, engaging environment as they transition from classes.

You will facilitate homework, organize recreational and physical activities, and communicate with parents about participation and progress. This part-time, on-site role offers flexible hours during school terms and opportunities to grow within the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience with school-aged children in aftercare or similar settings.
• Patience, enthusiasm and a positive attitude toward children.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize and manage group activities effectively.
• Knowledge of child safety and supervision best practices.
• First Aid certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children participating in the aftercare program.
