Job summary

Clicks Group invites applications for an Assistant Floor Manager (After Hours) at Unicare 24 hour pharmacy in Bellville. You will report to the Front Shop Manager and help drive sales, service excellence and compliance to meet budgets and protect brand standards.

You will optimise store performance, supervise staff, manage schedules, handle admin and training, and lead customer service initiatives to build loyalty and ensure a seamless after-hours operation.

Qualifications

• Desirable: Degree in Relevant Retail/Business Management; essential for external candidates.
• Minimum 1 year’s experience in an assistant store management role in retail/FMCG.
• Knowledge of financial management principles and store operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales through promotions and cross/ upselling while delivering excellent customer service.
• Oversee store operations, expenses, stock control, shrinkage and housekeeping.
• Support Front Shop Manager in staffing and staff development.
• Assist with daily work schedule per labour policy to ensure full staffing.
• Implement customer service initiatives to boost Clubcard participation and loyalty.
• Handle administrative duties including time and attendance and HR records.
• Respond to customer queries promptly and professionally.
• Assist in training and development of staff.
