Job summary

Gallagher Group Limited seeks a strategic, hands-on Regional Marketing Manager to lead Africa marketing, including brand, demand generation and market development across Africa. Based in Johannesburg, the role shapes regional strategy while delivering campaigns, events, and partner programmes that accelerate growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in a broad marketing role with responsibility for both strategy and execution.
• A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience developing and delivering regional or multi-market marketing programmes.
• Experience working across South Africa and wider African markets is highly desirable.
• A strong track record of partnering with Sales teams to support demand generation, Channel Partner engagement and business growth.
• Experience managing agencies, suppliers and external marketing partners.
• Confidence using CRM systems, marketing platforms, reporting tools and data to guide decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, project management and stakeholder relationship skills.
• The ability to work independently, influence across functions and cultures, and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Experience in technology, security, infrastructure, industrial or channel-led businesses would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the Africa marketing plan, aligned with regional priorities and sales objectives.
• Identify market opportunities across South Africa and Africa.
• Plan and manage the Africa marketing budget and report on campaign effectiveness and ROI.
• Deliver Channel Partner events, consultant engagement activities and end-user forums.
• Create integrated campaigns across digital, social, content, PR, events and partner channels.
• Localise global campaigns for African markets and audiences.
• Drive regional PR, media engagement and thought leadership.
• Support product launches and channel partner growth in the region.
