Job summary

Unifi, a bold African lending group, is seeking a Group Reporting Accountant to ensure accurate group numbers and scalable reporting across Africa. You’ll collaborate with country finance teams, challenge processes and drive automation, including NetSuite integrations, to support rapid growth.

You will own monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated accounts, assist with year-end audits, and help standardise IFRS positions across the group.

Qualifications

• Registered with SAICA or SAICA member in good standing.
• 5+ years post-articles accounting experience in multi-currency, multi-entity consolidations.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and ability to explain positions with auditors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated accounts and financial statements.
• Collaborate with country finance teams to ensure consistent reporting across the group.
• Translate complex IFRS issues into clear accounting positions.
• Support year-end audits with external auditors and country teams.
• Drive automation and standardisation using NetSuite and other systems.
