Job summary

FirstRand Limited, through its Private Banking and Advisory Team in Cape Town, seeks a results-driven professional to support proactive management of affluent client portfolios. You will partner with Private Bankers to deliver insights, research, and seamless execution of sales and service activities.

The role involves identifying opportunities to onboard new clients and expand existing relationships, while maintaining high service standards and compliance with governance requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have an NQF7 level degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting.
• RE5 qualification required.
• 2–3 years of experience in a Sales/Service area within banking/financial environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide sound services and recommendations based on customer and client needs, current information and trends.
• Provide efficient administration through planning, reporting and updating all relevant information.
• Compile reports that track progress and guide business decisions.
• Manage the leads pipeline effectively.
• Support sales through analysis of client portfolios and proactive client engagement.
• Assist with profit growth through sales and acquisition of new clients.
• Achieve financial targets and uphold service levels.
• Identify opportunities to expand the customer base with creditworthy clients.
• Grow existing client relationships and generate new leads to expand active accounts.
