Placements24 in George is seeking an experienced Aerospace Quality Inspector to ensure components meet rigorous standards. You will inspect raw materials, in-process parts, and finished assemblies using precision tools and read engineering drawings to verify conformity.

This on-site role requires AS9100 knowledge, meticulous documentation of results, and collaboration with engineering and production to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in aerospace or precision manufacturing.
• Proficiency with CMMs, micrometers, calipers and gauges.
• Strong understanding of AS9100 and inspection techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsabilités

• Perform thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished aerospace products.
• Verify parts conform to drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Document inspection results and initiate corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Audit manufacturing processes and quality systems for compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to resolve issues and implement improvements.
• Maintain calibration records for inspection equipment at the George facility.
