Job summary

Ninety One, an independent global asset manager, is seeking a Sales Manager Support professional in Durban. The role focuses on client service, advisor liaison, event planning, and administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the IP Sales Team.

Candidate requirements include 3–5 years in financial services, knowledge of investment platforms and CIS, and familiarity with adviser environments. A CFP or similar exam is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in financial services.
• General knowledge of Collective Investment Schemes and Investment Platforms, as well as commercial business knowledge.
• An understanding of investment platform administration; CFP or Registered Persons Exam will be advantageous.
• An understanding of the Adviser environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage client service and resolve general queries with professionalism.
• Prepare quotes, new business proposals and various reports for advisors.
• Follow up on large deals and queries when requested.
• Assist with onboarding queries and manage advisor change processes.
• Arrange client events, load attendance lists and coordinate logistics.
• Coordinate internal flights, accommodation and office resources as needed.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance for client engagements.
