Job summary

Ninety One is seeking an experienced Client Operations professional in Cape Town to support client servicing across multiple regions. You will manage client queries, perform KYC, and work closely with Investment Operations, Portfolio Managers and Finance to ensure accurate, timely service.

The role requires 3–5 years in asset management or financial services client work, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Power BI/SQL. A client-focused, collaborative mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in business or related field; strong academic background
• 3–5 years in investment management or financial services client-facing role
• Experience managing client relationships in asset management
• Knowledge of financial instruments and markets
• Financial accounting experience; advanced Excel skills required
• Familiarity with Power Automate, Power BI, SQL; AI tools beneficial

Responsibilities

• Liaise professionally with clients (new clients, restructures, performance queries).
• Manage queries and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with Investment Operations, Portfolio Managers and other teams.
• Perform ongoing KYC of clients.
• Coordinate with back office administrators.
• Provide information to Client Directors and maintain CRM records.
• Identify process inefficiencies and contribute to improvements.
