Job summary

Absa Bank Limited invites an experienced insurance risk adviser to provide solution oriented service to clients in short-term insurance, spanning commercial and personal lines. The role focuses on building a sustainable client base through advisory sales in a hybrid, virtual setting.

Required FAIS fits (RE5), NQF5 in Short-term Insurance and COB up-to-date, plus 5 years of experience in Commercial Insurance sales. A valid driver's license is beneficial.

• Minimum qualification: NQF5 in Short-term Insurance.
• RE5 with COB up to date.
• Bachelor's Degrees and Advanced Diplomas in Business/Commerce/Management.

Responsibilities

• Provide solution orientated service to customers in Short-term Insurance risk.
• Advise and offer solutions for clients' short-term insurance needs (Commercial and Personal Lines).
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, bankers, insurers and advisers.
• Meet sales and growth targets in a virtual advice and hybrid model.

FSCA-Approved Qualification
Regulatory Exam for Representatives (RE5)
Experience as Per the FAIS Act
