Job summary

You will plan routes, ensure participant safety, and share insights into local flora, fauna and history while delivering excellent service in breathtaking landscapes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a tour guide or in a related field within tourism or leisure & sports.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification is essential.
• Strong knowledge of the local environment, including geography, history and wildlife of the Northern Cape.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and storytelling skills.
• A proactive and responsible attitude with a strong emphasis on safety.
• Physical fitness and ability to lead activities outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead guided tours and adventure activities, such as hiking, cycling or wildlife viewing.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an adventurous and knowledgeable Adventure Tourism Guide to lead excursions and tours in the spectacular landscapes surrounding Upington . You will be responsible for planning routes, ensuring participant safety, and sharing insights into the local flora, fauna, and history.
