Placements24 is seeking an adventurous Adventure Tourism Guide to lead tours around Port Elizabeth and the Eastern Cape. You will guide hikes, wildlife viewing, and other activities, educating visitors on flora, fauna, and culture while ensuring safety and memorable experiences.

The role requires First Aid/CPR certification, strong guiding skills, and a passion for sharing the region’s beauty with international visitors.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a tour guide or in outdoor leadership.
  • First Aid and CPR certification is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of local geography, natural history, and cultural heritage of the Eastern Cape.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical fitness to lead activities in challenging terrain and varying weather conditions.
  • A valid driver's license is an asset.
