Job summary

NHS Ayrshire & Arran is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join the Acute Medicine team at ARI. The post is Band 7 with varied hours and a fixed-term/secondment of 18 months.

You will work across Acute Medicine and the Flow Navigation Centre, providing high-level autonomous clinical care to adults with acute conditions. You will develop core and area-specific competencies, supported by a Practice Supervisor, with non-clinical time for governance and development of new care models in

Qualifications

• Evidence of Master’s level thinking and practice in portfolio.
• Identified Practice Supervisor with non-clinical time for governance.
• Experience in Acute Medicine and Flow Navigation Centre desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level autonomous clinical care for adults with acute conditions.
• Develop and implement new service models reflecting NHS Grampian strategy.
• Support safe decision-making using Near Me video and telephone consultations.
• Work across RAAC/AMIA/DVT/Short Stay units and Flow Navigation Centre.
