We are lookingfor an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our InfrastructureEngineering team.
In this role, youwill be responsible for the design, development, security, automation andoperation of Linux platforms across office and production environments. Youwill help ensure that Linux environments remain secure, stable, compliant,highly available and aligned with business and operational requirements.
This is anadvanced level position suited to an engineer who can work largelyautonomously, solve complex technical problems and provide guidance to lessexperienced team members.
What You WillBe Responsible For:
- Design,develop and maintain Linux client platforms across office and productionenvironments.
- Define,implement and continuously improve Linux functionality based on business andoperational requirements.
- Developand maintain Linux base images, software packages and configuration standards.
- EnsureLinux platforms comply with security, hardening and regulatory requirements.
- Performvulnerability assessments and implement appropriate remediation measures.
- Install,configure, administer and support Linux environments across physical, virtualand cloud infrastructure.
- SupportLinux environments running in cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Monitorsystem performance and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
- Ensurehigh availability, reliability and operational stability across criticalenvironments.
- Automatedeployment, configuration and operational processes to improve efficiency andreliability.
- Managesystem updates, patches and Linux platform lifecycle activities.
- SupportIncident, Problem and Change Management processes for dedicated IT services.
- Maintainaccurate technical documentation, knowledge articles, CMDB records andoperational procedures.
- Ensureadherence to operational standards, security policies and compliancerequirements.
- Trackand manage Jira user stories and operational tasks within an Agile workingenvironment.
- Collaborateclosely with infrastructure, cloud, security and application teams.
- Facilitateoperational meetings and contribute to continuous service improvementinitiatives.

Requirements
EssentialSkills and Experience
- Strongexperience with Unix and Linux operating systems, particularly Ubuntu, Red Hatand SUSE.
- Deepexperience with Ansible Automation and Ansible Tower.
- Strongshell scripting experience using Bash, Perl and Python.
- Deepexperience with GitHub and GitOps repositories.
- Strongunderstanding of secure coding practices and Configuration as Code.
- Experiencewith system monitoring solutions such as Grafana or similar technologies.
- Experiencewith backup solutions.
- Solidunderstanding of networking concepts including DNS, DHCP, SSH and TCP IP.
- Experiencewith proxy configuration.
- Strongexperience with Linux administration, automation and configuration management.
- Experiencewith cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure.

- Aminimum of 5 years IT Operations experience.
