The Department of Local Government, Western Cape has an opportunity for a competent individual to render administrative supportto the Directorate.

Knowledge and understanding of the following: Administrative processes; Clerical duties, practices as well as the ability to capture data; Government knowledge, including financial processes and Batho Pele Principles; Working procedures in terms of the working environment; Skills in the following: Computer literacy in MS Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Record keeping; Communication (written and verbal); Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
R 237 453 - R 279 708 per annum (Salary level 5)

One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment. The selection process will be guided by the EE targets of the employing department.
