Placements24 is seeking an Addiction Counselor to provide vital community-based services in Randburg.

You will guide clients through recovery, offer counseling, and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual while connecting them with local support networks for lasting sobriety.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or diploma in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or Addiction Studies.
• CAC or equivalent certification preferred.
• Proven experience counseling individuals with substance use disorders.
• Strong knowledge of addiction theory, treatment modalities, and recovery principles.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Randburg resources and support systems.
