Job summary

NHS Scotland is recruiting a Band 5 Occupational Therapist for a fixed-term 9-month maternity cover in Aberdeen. The post sits within the Acute medical team, encompassing general medicine, respiratory, cardiology, infectious diseases and gastroenterology units.

You will work with Senior Occupational Therapists and multidisciplinary teams to assess and treat inpatients. CPD is encouraged with supervision and access to a Band 5 Support Group.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Access to a car for work purposes may be required.
• Band 5 post is full-time and fixed-term for 9 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients in the inpatient hospital setting.
• Work closely with Senior Occupational Therapists and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in CPD and supervision; access to Band 5 Support Group.
• May be required to work across 7 days including weekends and public holidays.
