Job summary

Guardrisk Life is seeking a driven actuary to join our Structuring & Solutions team. If you are a qualified actuary with life insurance pricing experience, you will review and sign off on products and pricing, build pricing models and collaborate with clients and internal teams.

You will lead the Pricing team, mentor juniors, and help structure deals to optimize outcomes while ensuring regulatory compliance and rigorous analytics in a dynamic market.

Guardrisk Life is looking for a driven and passionate problem solver to join our growing Structuring & Solutions team. If you are a qualified actuary and have experience in life insurance pricing, we would love to hear from you!

You will play an integral part at Guardrisk, working in a unique environment along with our clients and internal teams to review and sign off on new/changing products and pricing. This role includes technical pricing work, working on multiple other facets of the solutions, working with clients, structuring of deals, solving interesting problems in the business and management of the Pricing team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support pricing strategies for new and existing group and individual life insurance products.
• Review and refine pricing models to ensure competitiveness and profitability
• Develop robust technical pricing models
• Ensure regulatory and professional compliance by reviewing new products against relevant guidelines
• Contribute to the structuring and negotiation of new deals to optimize business outcomes
• Lead and mentor the Pricing team, providing guidance to junior actuarial analysts
• Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to communicate complex technical insights effectively

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
• Qualified Actuary
• Experience in life insurance pricing
• Experience with managing a team would be advantageous
