Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
• Progress towards actuarial examinations (e.g., Actuarial Society of South Africa exams).
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in an actuarial role within the insurance industry.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
• Proficiency in actuarial software (Prophet) and programming (R, Python) and Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an office environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, implementation, and maintenance of actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and capital management.
• Perform complex calculations and analysis related to insurance liabilities and assets.
