Job summary

Paracon - Gauteng is seeking an IT Infrastructure Specialist focused on Active Directory administration in Johannesburg. You will create, modify, and delete user accounts, groups, computer accounts and OUs within the AD domain, while enforcing security policies and DNS support.

You will troubleshoot authentication and LDAP issues, monitor AD health, assist with DNS systems, and collaborate with the Windows AD Domain Administrator Support Team to resolve escalations.

• Infrastructure Support: Troubleshoot DNS service and resolution issues.
• Assist in managing internal and external DNS systems.
• Collaborate with the Windows Active Directory Domain Administrator Support Team to provide timely and efficient support.
• Work with senior staff to resolve escalated incidents.
• Identity Management Solutions: Continuously seek opportunities to improve existing Active Directory and Exchange architecture.
• Research and address technical challenges related to email retention, cluster communication, and public folder replication.
