Job summary

K-E Consulting Pty Ltd in Durban is seeking an experienced Accounting Team Leader to join our Private Business Services division. You will lead a team of junior staff, oversee the preparation of Annual Financial Statements using Draftworx, and ensure accurate, review-ready bookkeeping and reconciliations.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality financial reporting, monitoring workflow and deadlines, and supporting compliance with IFRS for SMEs, VAT and PAYE.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience within an accounting firm.
• Proven experience preparing AFS and management accounts.
• Strong Draftworx experience.
• Knowledge of Xero and/or Sage.
• Solid understanding of IFRS for SMEs, VAT, and PAYE.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
