Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Pastel).
• Strong data entry skills and a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Good organisational and time management abilities.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles related to receivables.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must reside in or be able to commute to Soweto, Gauteng, and have legal authorization to work in South Africa.
• Customer-service oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Process customer invoices accurately and promptly.
• Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
• Contact customers to follow up on outstanding balances.
• Resolve payment discrepancies and disputes.

• Prepare and distribute aging reports.
