Job summary

Execustaff is seeking a reliable Creditors Clerk / Receptionist for a busy manufacturing and installation company in Cape Town. The role combines financial administration with front-desk duties, requiring accuracy and organisation.

You will handle accounts payable in Odoo, reconcile supplier statements, process invoices, manage payments, and support the Finance team. Fluency in English and Afrikaans is preferred, and attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in a Creditors, Finance or Accounting Administration role.
• Sound understanding of accounts payable principles and bookkeeping.
• Experience reconciling supplier accounts.
• Strong MS Office and Outlook skills; experience with Odoo advantageous.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately into Odoo (ERP system).
• Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Verify documentation is complete and authorised.
• Reconcile supplier statements and prepare creditor payment schedules.
• Manage subcontractor and installer payments.
• Follow up on pro forma invoices and tax invoices after payment.
• Record financial transactions accurately in the system.
• Reconcile AP ledger balances and scrap receipts.
• Balance project cost reports to the General Ledger.
• Resolve supplier queries promptly and professionally.
• Maintain petty cash records and filing.
• Assist with month-end procedures and general Finance admin.
• Answer switchboard and welcome clients/visitors.
• Order office stationery and supplies.
