Job summary

J2E Placements is seeking an Accountant for our client in Stellenbosch to join the Property Investments portfolio. Immediate start preferred, with on-site duties at the Stellenbosch offices. Salary ranges from R40 000 to R50 000 per month, depending on experience.

Role involves hands-on exposure to a fast-paced environment, reporting to the Financial Manager, and handling daily processing across multiple entities with VAT and tax responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• Accounting degree (advantageous)
• SAIPA, with experience in processing VAT, AFS drafting and tax calculations
• 2-3 years related experience
• Working knowledge of MDA system (advantageous)
• Intermediate excel skills
• MS Office
• Valid License and Own Transport

Responsibilities

• Daily processing tasks for more than one entity in the portfolio
• Bring financial data from different systems into MDA (accounting software)
• Prepare Management Accounts monthly
• Compare Actual and forecast and budget, able to explain differences
• Prepare VAT calculations, reconcile VAT differences and gather info for SARS queries
• Prepare audit folders annually
• Prepare and maintain Cash Flow Forecast
• Prepare tax computations
• Prepare/review Annual Financial Statements

Our client, a Property Investments company, seeks an Accountant to join their dynamic Student Portfolio team, who can start Immediately or as soon as possible at their offices in Stellenbosch.

Must live in or around Stellenbosch Area.

Must preferably be available immediately!

Salary: R40 000 – R50 000 per month, depending on experience.

Job Purpose:

In this role, you’ll work closely with and report directly to the Financial Manager, gaining hands‑on exposure to a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment where your ideas matter and your growth is a priority.
