SoluGrowth (Pty) Ltd is seeking an Accountant for a client recognized as a world leader in high-speed equipment design and manufacture. This is a 3-month contract with potential for permanence.

The successful candidate will manage daily financial tasks, maintain asset registries, perform reconciliations, assist with audits, and contribute to month-end processes using SAP and MS Office.

Qualifikationen

• Maintaining and reviewing the fixed assets registry quarterly.
• Reconciliation and maintaining the GRIR – Goods received and goods invoicing account balancing.
• Reconciliations of various general ledger accounts for review by the Financial Accountant, ensuring all outstanding items are followed and cleared.
• Perform bank account and cash reconciliations.
• Recording month-end and year-end journals.
• Assists with the year-end and finance audits.
• Update the liquidity planning.
• Month-end reporting & BPC.

Accountant Position

Solugrowth is looking for an Accountant for our client who is internationally recognized as the world leader in the design and manufacturing of high-speed equipment.

This is a 3 months contract role with the possibility of being permanent.

Purpose

The Accountant will be responsible for managing daily financial and accounting tasks for businesses.

Responsibilities

1. Maintaining and reviewing the fixed assets registry quarterly
2. Reconciliation and maintaining the GRIR – Goods received and goods invoicing account balancing.
3. Reconciliations of various general ledger accounts for review by the Financial Accountant, ensuring all outstanding items are followed and cleared
4. Perform bank account and cash reconciliations
5. Recording month-end and year-end journals
6. Assists with the year-end and finance audits
7. Update the liquidity planning
8. Month-end reporting & BPC

Profile

Experience & Qualification:

1. Matric (Non-Negotiable)
2. Relevant qualification
3. SAP experience (Non-negotiable)
4. 3 years’ work experience in a similar role
5. MS Office
6. Knowledge of business administration
7. Law directives, guidelines and standards
8. Strong sense of confidentiality
9. Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
10. High attention to detail
11. Sound knowledge relating to Intercompany billings and reconciliations
12. Ability to work independently and in a team
