Job summary

Dante Personnel Recruitment (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced Accountant for the Silverlakes area near Pretoria. You will manage the full accounting function, oversee a small team, prepare monthly journals, reconciliations and financial reports while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities include payroll processing using Pastel Payroll, handling VAT, PAYE, Income Tax, EMP201/EMP501, SARS eFiling, liaising with auditors, and supporting cash flow forecasting.

Qualifications

• Completed articles with 2+ years post-article experience.
• Experience in payroll management (Pastel Payroll Software).
• Experience in SARS eFiling – filing returns and managing verifications and like
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• Experience in working in a group structure – management of multiple companies and intercompany transactions
• Registered Tax Practitioner that could manage all efiling profiles of the group - would be a plus
• Manage full accounting function and management of the accounting team
• Prepare and process monthly journals, reconciliations, and financial reports
• Handle payroll processing and related statutory submissions
• Manage SARS tax filings – VAT, PAYE, Income Tax, and EMP201& EMP501 submissions
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
