Job summary
A construction consulting company is seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimations for renovations and government projects. The ideal candidate has over 4 years of experience and proficiency in on-screen takeoff software. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential for this role.
Qualifications
- 4+ years experience with quantity takeoff and estimating.
- Strong understanding of construction processes; MEP background is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate quantity takeoffs from construction drawings.
- Assist in compiling and analyzing cost estimates for projects.

Job Title: Estimator
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Eastern Standard Time
Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Estimator to prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimations for commercial renovation and government projects. The ideal candidate understands constructability, thinks outside the box, and works well in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate quantity takeoffs from construction drawings and specifications
- Assist in compiling and analyzing cost estimates for projects
- Collaborate with estimators and project managers to ensure comprehensive bid proposals
- Utilize on-screen takeoff software
Qualifications:
- 4+ years experience with quantity takeoff and estimating
- Experience with commercial renovations, government work, or similar projects
- Strong understanding of construction processes; MEP background is a plus but not required
- Proficiency in any on-screen takeoff software (experience with Bluebeam is a plus)
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
