Job summary

Airswift is seeking an Accounting Senior to join a leading Oil & Gas company in Venezuela. This is a full-time, on-site role for an experienced accounting professional responsible for financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, intercompany activities, and corporate reporting support.

The candidate will execute closing processes, prepare journal entries, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and support audits and process improvements, working with Tax, Treasury, Operations, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• 5+ years of accounting or financial reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial close processes.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Advanced English proficiency is highly desirable.
• Oil & Gas industry experience and Joint Venture exposure are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and adjustments.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis.
• Support corporate reporting and financial consolidation requirements.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
• Analyze OPEX, CAPEX, fixed assets, and Joint Venture accounting activities.
• Support audits, internal controls, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Tax, Treasury, Operations, and Finance teams.
