Outlier is seeking a QA Coder to review AI-generated code and flag issues, helping improve model outputs. You will rate responses and contribute to the refinement of coding tasks, with dedicated support and flexible hours.

Ideal candidates have a CS degree, live production code experience, and strong written/spoken English. This is a 1099 contract role with global applicants and access to leading LLMs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase, preferably for a tech company.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code using structured guidelines to flag errors and quality issues.
• Rate and rank model responses across key dimensions to guide improvements.
• Write clear, well-structured computer science prompts to challenge AI models.
