Job summary

Tidal is seeking a proactive Operations & Logistics Manager to own procurement, inventory, and logistics for a growing DTC wellness brand. You will work with the founders, manage suppliers, and oversee 3PL performance, while taking over Claude-driven workflows.

Strong English skills and a reliable remote-work history are essential. This independent contractor role offers remote work with approximately 40 hours per week and requires overlap with US East Coast hours.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in operations, procurement, logistics, inventory management, or supply chain, preferably within eCommerce or consumer goods.
• Proven experience managing suppliers, packaging partners, freight providers, and 3PLs independently. Able to push for deadlines and resolve disruptions.
• Strong inventory and replenishment skills, including identifying stockout risks and coordinating supply around demand and promotions.
• Hands-on Shopify experience, including operational settings and integrations that affect checkout, subscriptions, availability, or fulfillment.
• Strong Claude proficiency beyond email drafting or basic prompting; integrate Claude into systems and workflows.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with high proficiency; able to lead vendor calls and explain risks and solutions.
• Reliable remote work track record with timely responses, active engagement, and SOP adherence.
• Ability to provide a full-time, exclusive commitment and meet overlapping working hours with US East Coast.

Responsibilities

• Own procurement and supplier execution from PO to receipt at 3PL, ensuring quantities, pricing, and milestones.
• Follow up with suppliers and logistics partners to secure firm deadlines and corrective actions.
• Maintain inventory availability by tracking FG, packaging, and replenishment; align with launches and promotions.
• Manage logistics and 3PL performance, including freight bookings and delivery tracking.
• Maintain Shopify configurations, shipping settings, and subscription-related integrations.
• Take over Claude-powered operations and validate outputs before use.
• Track performance and costs across inventory, POs, delivery timelines, and freight.
• Communicate and escalate risks with impact and proposed actions.
• Maintain SOPs and ensure tasks are completed without repeated reminders.
