Job summary

Rockwell Automation seeks an Application Consultant to lead the front-end of proposal opportunities in the Lifecycle Services business, coordinating quotes, customers and sales contacts to secure planned business. The role combines sales, marketing and engineering, acting as the technical expert across market channels.

You will report to the Regional Business Manager Lifecycle Services, Andean Region, and participate in cross-functional teams to drive value and margin.

Qualifications

• 8 years' experience in industrial automation.
• About 6 years of consultancy, proposal development, engineering delivery or project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the front-end of proposal opportunities within an assigned market of the Lifecycle Services business.
• Manage the quoting, customer and sales contacts required to obtain planned level of incoming business.
• Act as liaison and technical expert to support appropriate market channels.
• Provide application expertise of solutions for specific industries.
• Present solutions to customers at multiple levels.
• Follow all company DOA procedures and understand proposal process, including iPE procedures, writing, costing, margin, and terms and conditions.
