Rockwell Automation is seeking a Project Engineer to lead project delivery from detailed engineering through customer-site commissioning. You will design, program, and configure automation systems, while coordinating with cross-functional teams and visiting customer sites as needed.

You should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, strong English communication, and 5+ years in industrial automation. Travel up to 70% is required, including international trips.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, System Engineering or related field.
• English in a good communicative level, both spoken and written.
• 5+ years of related experience in industrial automation (preferred).
• Experience with Rockwell Automation products (preferred).
• Willingness to travel up to 70% (domestic and international).

Responsabilidades

• Execute Detailed Engineering, Design, Programming and Configuration.
• Perform I/O database development, instrument list reviews, loop definitions, and Cause & Effect matrices.
• Develop PLC software, SCADA applications, HMI screens, alarm databases, and historian configurations.
• Support FAT/SAT and defect corrections; generate FAT/SAT and As-Built documentation.
• Travel to customer sites and support on-site commissioning.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Project Engineer is the execution of project delivery, which includes Detailed Engineering, Design, Programming, Configuration, BOM, testing, Documentation, and customer-site commissioning. Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial plants.

You will report to the Regional Business Manager Lifecycle Services, Andean Region.

The Essentials – You Will Have

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, System Engineering or technology related.
• English in a good communicative level, both spoken and written.

The Preferred – You Might Also Have

• Typically, 5 years of related experience.
• Prior experience in industrial automation
• Experience in Oil & Gas industry (Desirable, not limitative)
• Technical knowledge of Automation / Control / Network
• Programming Experience with Rockwell Automation Products..
• Understand Change Management principles.
• Hands‑on facilitation of large end-to-end value streams.
• Capability of Managing Multiple Priorities.
• Organizes cross‑functional projects.
• Ability to work with cross functional teams and multicultural teams.
• Comply with Global policies, standards, procedures, and protocols.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and similar
• Travel up to 70% of the time, which can include both domestic and international trips.
