Job summary

Siemens Energy, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Field Service Engineer to perform advanced maintenance and troubleshooting on gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators across Venezuela and the region.

You will lead field teams, coordinate site activities, and deliver high-quality technical support while ensuring safety and compliance. Strong English skills and up to 80% travel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Field Service Engineer for rotating equipment.
• Strong knowledge of gas turbines, steam turbines, generators and related systems.
• Experience leading field activities and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficient English communication, written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 80%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support field service teams during installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate on-site project execution with staffing and resources.
• Provide technical recommendations on equipment condition and maintenance strategies.
• Prepare technical reports, service documentation and safety records.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, Quality and Integrated Management System requirements.
• Identify service opportunities to support customer satisfaction and growth.
