The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging is seeking an Interventional Radiologist for a faculty position at the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. The selected candidate should demonstrate a commitment to building a strong academic career and excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research. The candidate will supervise trainees and provide outstanding teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows at a top radiology training program in the country. To accomplish this, the department seeks candidates who have expertise in interventional radiology. The selected candidate will provide clinical services primarily at the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFG) but may also include clinical work at other UCSF Health and UCSF affiliated sites including and the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC).
The position requires an MD degree (or equivalent), ability to practice medicine in California, and completion of ACGME-accredited interventional radiology fellowship or interventional radiology residency training program. Applicants are expected to be board certified (or eligible) by the American Board of Radiology or be prepared to enter into the ABR Alternate Pathway. Applicant materials must list current and/or pending qualifications upon submission. All qualifications are to be met by the time of the faculty appointment start date.
The total compensation for this position ranges from $514,000-$609,000.
Total compensation at the University of California, San Francisco includes your base salary, which is determined by your rank and step at appointment, and negotiated pay for Health Sciences Compensation Plan members. Faculty who are members of the Health Sciences Compensation Plan may also be eligible for additional incentive pay.
