Smithsonian Enterprises in Washington, DC is seeking a Guest Services Associate to enhance guest experiences at the Smithsonian National Zoological Park. You will provide information about exhibits, assist guests, promote memberships and donations, and help maintain smooth guest flow throughout the zoo.

The role requires a friendly, energetic, and reliable individual who can work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, with the ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of retail or customer service experience.
• Superior customer service with guest engagement.
• Solid selling skills to promote memberships and donations.
• Ability to think on your feet; stay flexible, positive and calm.

Mansioni

• Provide information about attractions and exhibits to guests.
• Deliver friendly, helpful customer service and address inquiries promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of exhibits and events; guide guests as needed.
• Provide membership information and encourage donations.
• Resolve guest concerns with Supervisors when needed.
• Ensure safe movement of guests throughout the Zoo and regulate entry flow.
