Job summary

The Virginia Zoo in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Gift Shop and Amenities Manager to lead retail and guest amenities programs. You will shape product selection to align with sustainability goals, manage vendor relationships, and ensure an exceptional guest experience through thoughtful merchandising and efficient operations.

You will recruit and develop staff, oversee daily operations for both retail and amenities, track performance, and implement promotions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Retail, Merchandising, or related field.
• Five years of retail experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Retail merchandising, product buying and selection experience required.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to maximize sales.
• Maintain inventory and quarterly audits.
