Qualifications

• 1+ years of zoning experience in an office environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and self-management
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines
• Familiar with land use and zoning principles (helpful)
• Ability to read zoning ordinances (helpful)
• Ability to read ALTA surveys (helpful)

Responsibilities

• Obtain, track, and manage documents; verify their accuracy
• Correspond with municipalities nationwide via telephone, email, and online portals
• Assist in ensuring documents and municipal responses are obtained to meet clients’ deadlines
• Work as part of a team to produce high-quality reports
• Internet-based research of GIS maps, online property files, and zoning ordinances
• Assist in document collection via telephone, internet, email, and written copy
• Draft correspondence and request property records with follow-up
• Maintain databases, logs, and spreadsheets to manage workload
