  • Conducting comprehensive property, zoning, legislative, and code research for new and ongoing matters
  • Maintaining organizational tools such as matter trackers, physical files, contact lists, and project documentation
  • Coordinating with clients, consultants, civic leaders, and government entities on project needs and deadlines
  • Reviewing emails and materials for key information; preparing letters, summaries, and submissions
  • Coordinating property tax assessment appeals
  • Preparation of title and real estate transactional documents

Job description

Tarabicos Grosso, LLP is a Delaware commercial real estate law firm with sophisticated, dynamic, and challenging work and outstanding clients seeking to add a zoning and land use paralegal to our high-volume and constantly growing land use practice.

As one of our paralegals, you will work with our firm’s attorneys and paralegals on sophisticated land use matters from start to finish.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys research, public process, community engagement, and working closely with engineers, planners, architects, and government officials. You will assist in preparing hearing materials, tracking active projects, coordinating with consultants, and maintaining detailed records that support successful outcomes for our clients.

As a key member of the Land Use team, the paralegal will manage a wide range of responsibilities requiring strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to anticipate issues before they arise. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Preparing outlines, PowerPoints, and supporting documentation for public hearings and community meetings
  • Attending hearings, meetings, and calls; taking detailed notes; and preparing formal summaries
  • Conducting comprehensive property, zoning, legislative, and code research for new and ongoing matters
  • Maintaining organizational tools such as matter trackers, physical files, contact lists, and project documentation
  • Coordinating with clients, consultants, civic leaders, and government entities on project needs and deadlines
