Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Inc. is hiring a Zone Specialist at our Pascagoula, MS store to assist customers and maintain visual standards. The role focuses on customer service, merchandising, and store upkeep within the assigned zone.

The Zone Specialist will support training, stay informed on promotions, and help with pricing and stocking while keeping the store orderly and inviting for shoppers and Associates. This position requires reliability and a positive team attitude.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months’ retail experience preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and preserve confidentiality of information.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Merchandising responsibilities in assigned zone.
• Assist with training new Zone Specialists.
• Be knowledgeable of promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and support promotions.
• Maintain assigned zone in a neat and organized fashion.
• Assist with pricing items, merchandising products, and recovering the store.
• Communicate customer needs to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the store.
• Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.

Position Overview

The Zone Specialist (ZS) assists customers and helps to maintain the store appearance. The ZS is responsible for all aspects of customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with primary focus on their assigned store zone.

Primary Responsibilities

• Merchandising responsibilities in assigned zone.
• Assist with training new Zone Specialists.
• Be knowledgeable of all promotions and advertisements to ensure that customer questions can be answered and to assist with selling product; support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs throughout the year.
• Maintain assigned zone in a neat and organized fashion.
• Assist with pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
• Communicate customer needs to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the overall store.
• Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months’ retail experience in a mid-size to large retail service-oriented business preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment.v
• Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks and activities and work within strict timeframes and deadlines.
• Knowledge of industry terms and processes.
