Job summary

Graybar is hiring for a Warehouse Supervisor in Phoenix, AZ. The role leads loading, receiving, packing, and shipping activities, trains staff, and oversees safety and inventory control to meet service goals.

You will operate warehouse equipment, ensure secure handling of merchandise, and participate in periodic inventory and reporting. The position runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with a focus on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience required; 2+ years preferred
• 4 year degree preferred
• Ability to perform physical requirements: lift/move up to 70 pounds
• Operate warehouse equipment per safety instructions and manufacturers' guidelines
• Knowledge of warehouse layout, operations and procedures
• Must be a WMS Super User and train others

Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform activities of employees engaged in loading, unloading, packing, shipping, receiving and inventory control
• Train and assign work to two or more warehouse employees; handle staffing decisions and transfers
• Move inventory and perform physical tasks as required
• Operate and maneuver warehouse equipment safely and in accordance with instructions
• Maintain equipment, expect safe working conditions, and inspect loading operations
• Compile records, post shipping charges, manage inventory counts and reports
