Job summary

The Summit Bechtel Reserve is seeking a Zip Ride operator to provide a safe, fun, and engaging zip ride experience for guests. You will participate in program training, use and maintain safety gear, and ensure proper harnessing and PPE supervision.

Housekeeping: housing in Staff Camp, Summit Staff Uniform, and work hours ranging up to a 45–55 hour schedule; training and background screening required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Experience guiding/facilitating and managing others at height.
• Body weight between 50-250 lbs as per manufacturer requirements.
• Willing to become a registered Scouting America member (background screening).
• Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, fun zip ride experience for guests.
• Participate in program training during staff training period.
• Use safety equipment mandated in the venue.
• Check equipment and report concerns.
• Fit guests with harnesses and helmets correctly and supervise PPE use.
• Model the Scout Oath and Law in interactions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work area.
