Job summary

Merlin Entertainments’ LEGOLAND California Resort seeks a Waste Management Technician to support the Zero Waste 2030 initiative. You will collect, transport, and process all waste streams, working with a small team behind the scenes to promote sustainability.

The role requires available flexibility including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and is seasonal, sunsetting in February 2026. On-site work in California with safety training provided and a focus on environmentally friendly waste

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal English skills required.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must hold a valid California driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily rounds to collect and dispose of waste and recyclables.
• Operate light trucks, trailers, and compactors.
• Dismantle unwanted equipment and recover recyclables.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and report hazards.
• Coordinate with managers to improve route efficiency.
