Job summary

Client Solution Architects seeks a Splunk Systems Administrator to support a Navy client onsite in Pensacola, FL. The role focuses on secure Splunk administration across classified and unclassified environments and advancing Zero Trust maturity.

You will develop dashboards, integrate diverse log sources, and collaborate with cybersecurity teams to map Splunk capabilities to frameworks such as NIST 800-207. A Secret clearance and related certifications are required, with 3+ years of systems

Qualifications

• 3+ years of systems administration experience, including DISA STIG implementation.
• Hands-on experience administering Splunk Enterprise in distributed environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Splunk Enterprise deployments across classified and unclassified environments.
• Architect and implement Splunk solutions that support Zero Trust principles.
• Integrate diverse log sources to enable visibility aligned with Zero Trust architecture.
• Develop and optimize correlation searches, alerts, and dashboards to detect threats.
• Support Zero Trust telemetry for identity, device posture, and access control validation.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to map Splunk capabilities to NIST 800-207.
• Provide advanced support to Splunk users, including searches and dashboard creation.
• Harden and secure Linux-based systems per DISA STIGs and security policies.
• Automate system administration and data ingestion using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Participate in incident response and threat hunting using Splunk.
