ASSA ABLOY is hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer for on-site work in New Haven, CT. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of cybersecurity, infrastructure, or security engineering experience.
• Experience with network security, firewalls, server administration, security operations.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, Active Directory, Windows and Linux administration.
• Experience troubleshooting application communication issues.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Illumio platform (PCE, VENs) and agents across Windows and Linux.
• Analyze application traffic, map dependencies, classify workloads, and document connectivity.
• Develop and maintain segmentation policies (ringfencing, tier-to-tier, admin controls, allow lists).
• Maintain workload labeling and asset inventory; onboarding new applications into segmentation program.
• Support cloud/hybrid security across Azure, on-prem, and hosted environments.
• Assist OT security and risk reduction for manufacturing/environments.
• Monitor segmentation coverage, produce reports, and drive improvement; assist in root cause analysis.
• Develop scripts and automation to improve operations; use APIs for onboarding, reporting, labeling, policy mgmt.
