ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Americas is hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer in New Haven, CT to implement, operate, and maintain the division's Zero Trust Segmentation program using Illumio. The role collaborates with infrastructure, cloud, OT, and security teams to reduce risk and protect critical assets.

The position emphasizes policy development, workload onboarding, and ongoing platform administration, including incident response and continuous improvement within hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3–5 years of cybersecurity, infrastructure, or security engineering experience.
• Availability to be on-call for off-hour emergencies.
• Experience with network security, firewalls, server administration, security operations.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the Illumio platform (PCE/VENs).
• Deploy, troubleshoot, and upgrade Illumio agents on Windows and Linux.
• Monitor platform health, connectivity, policy status and enforcement.
• Develop and maintain segmentation policies and access controls.
• Analyze application traffic, dependencies, and documentation of architectures.
