GovCIO is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to design, enhance, and mature the company’s Zero Trust network security architecture in support for Headquarters Air Force A2. This role is onsite at Langley AFB in Hampton, VA.

The engineer will design segmentation models, micro-perimeters, secure access patterns, and continuous verification controls, partnering with security, cloud, and infrastructure teams to implement across on‑prem, hybrid, and cloud workloads, with KPIs to measure

Qualificações

• Clearance TS/SCI required.
• Zero Trust principles applied to network design.
• Experience with segmentation, SD-WAN, VPN alternatives, firewalls, NAC, and SASE.

Responsabilidades

• Design and maintain the Zero Trust network architecture including segmentation models and continuous verification controls.
• Partner with security, cloud, infrastructure, manufacturing, and application teams to integrate Zero Trust across environments.
• Develop architectural diagrams, standards, and engineering playbooks for Zero Trust network design.
