Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Journeyman Cyber Security Engineer (Microsoft) to support USSOCOM EDAT Zero Trust initiative. You will implement and maintain Microsoft security technologies across identity, endpoint, data, and security operations.

Responsibilities include configuring Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, Purview, Entra ID, Logic Apps, and UEBA/SOAR capabilities, while supporting RMF activities and ATO artifacts. A TS/SCI clearance with DoD experience is required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Cybersecurity/Engineering or 8140 certification.
• 3+ years in enterprise cybersecurity, MS security platforms, or systems engineering.
• Experience administering Microsoft enterprise security solutions.
• Experience with MS Sentinel, Defender, Purview, Entra ID, Logic Apps, or Behavior Analytics.
• Experience supporting RMF documentation or cybersecurity compliance.
• Knowledge of DISA STIG implementation and cybersecurity best practices.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft security technologies within the Zero Trust architecture.
• Assist with deployment and administration of Microsoft security services.
• Tune analytics rules, dashboards, alerts, and automation workflows for threat detection and response.
• Support UEBA and SOAR capabilities using Microsoft security platforms.
• Collaborate with ISSOs and stakeholders supporting the Zero Trust initiative.
• Support RMF activities and ATO artifacts maintenance.
• Assist with vulnerability assessments and STIG implementation.
• Troubleshoot security platform issues and assist with operational challenges.
• Participate in investigations, incident response, and security monitoring.
