Job summary

Leidos Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Cyber Security Engineer (Microsoft) to support USSOCOM's Zero Trust initiative.

You will engineer and operate Microsoft security technologies to strengthen identity, endpoint, data, and security operations across the enterprise. The role requires TS/SCI eligibility, a related bachelor's degree, and 3+ years' experience with Microsoft security platforms and security engineering.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance or eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of directly relevant experience.
• Experience administering Microsoft enterprise security solutions.
• Experience supporting enterprise cybersecurity or systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft security technologies within Zero Trust architecture.
• Assist with deployment and administration of Microsoft security services (Sentinel, Defender, Purview, Entra ID, Logic Apps).
• Configure analytics rules, dashboards, alerts, and automation workflows for improved threat detection.
• Support UEBA and SOAR capabilities using Microsoft security platforms.
• Collaborate with ISSOs and government stakeholders on RMF artifacts and security controls.
• Assist with vulnerability assessments and DISA STIG implementation.
